Tilt Compensation Module Installation

• Mount the Tilt Compensation module as close to the center of the vehicle side as possible.

• Mount the module on a plain parallel to the GPS antenna so that both the antenna and the

sensor tilt the same degree.

• Mount the module so the sensor is level and the connector is pointing upward.

• The module should be mounted rigidly to minimize vibration. Vibration will degrade the abil-

ity to sense tilt.

• It is recommended that nuts and bolts be used or self-tapping screws be used through the

two mounting holes on each end of the module.

• The arrow on the module decal must be pointing toward the front of the vehicle.

• DO NOT mount the module near extreme temperatures, upside down, or on its side.
