UPGRADING THE DATALINK MODULE

To upgrade the DataLink Module follow this simple procedure:

Step Description

1 Switch the DataLink and LH 5000 off if not already turned off.

2 Insert the upgrade card into the DataLink module.

3 Switch the DataLink module and the LH 5000 on.

4 The upgrade is complete when the GPS main menu is displayed on the

LH 5000.

CHECKING THE UPGRADE

After upgrading the DataLink module it is a good idea to check that the upgrade

has been installed, this is done as follows:

Step Description

Press the STATUS-key on the LH5000

The screen to the left is displayed.

The DataLink software version can be seen at the

bottom of the display.

3 Cross check that the software version displayed is the same as the

version written on the datacard.

4 Please contact LH Agro if the version numbers differ.
